Education Kalon visit NCERT, Delhi

Kalon for Education, Mr. Ngodup Tsering visited NCERT, New Delhi on May 22, 2015 to observe the ongoing in-service training program for Mathematics Teachers of Tibetan schools after reaching Delhi from his official visit to Nepal.
Honorable Kalon briefed the participants about the importance and objectives behind giving in-service trainings to the teachers. At the same time Kalon interacted with the participants and faculty members of Department of Education in Science and Mathematics (DESM), NCERT.
Honorable Kalon was happy to find that all the participants were taking active participation in this training program organized by Department of Education, CTA, Dharamsala. All the participants also felt lucky to get this wonderful opportunity to interact with Honorable Kalon and to receive such effective training from highly qualified resource persons of NCERT.
We do hope that after receiving the training, the teachers will make a difference in the teaching learning process in their respective schools.

3 WEEK MATHEMATICS WORKSHOP AT NCERT CONCLUDED

Another 21 Days standard in-service training program for Mathematics Teachers of Tibetan Schools ended at National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) a foremost training and educational research Institute in India. The program started off on May 14 and ended on 4th June, 2015 with a simple closing ceremony.

Educational Kalon Ngodup Tsering, paid a visit to the training program and spends an hour with the participants and the faculty members of the NCERT including the head of the Science and Mathematics Department. The Kalon expressed his joy to learn from the participants that the training program has been very helpful. One of the participants thanked the DoE, for organising this workshop, as “they get wonderful opportunity to interact with the highly qualified resource persons of the NCERT”   The teacher representative, Tenzin Sangpo la mentioned that “after receiving the training, we hope to make a difference in the teaching learning process in the schools”.

The faculty members greatly appreciated the high level of enthusiasm shown by the participants.
