Department of Education (DoE) organized fourth workshop for Non-Formal Researchers at College for Higher Tibetan Studies (CHTS), SARAH from 4th to 9th Feb 2015.
The Chief Resource Person Dr. Pema Yangchen (Vice- principal of Dalai Lama Institute of Higher Studies, Bangalore) gave an in depth presentation and spoke extensively about ” what, why and how” of academic research and its application, emphasizing the need for meticulous planning and execution of the research by giving practical tips.
The other Resource Person includes Mr. Tsewang Topla and Mr. Sonam Gyaltsen both lecturer of CHTS, Sarah, Dr. Dhesel and Mr. Lobsang (Advisor of Tibet Policy Institute, CTA).
Attended by 12 research students (1st year MA) from CHTS, Sarah and 5 non- formal researchers of DoE. Participants made various queries related to the research project which were delivered by our resource persons with presentation comprising useful and important information on the subject. The session was well appreciated by all.
The six day workshop was successfully concluded with the honor of Honorable Education Kalon Mr. Ngodup Tsering with the presence of the Ven. Jamphel Dhakpa, principal of CHTS, Sarah.
