The Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration has organized two workshops, one for 45 Primary teachers on “Early Childhood Care and Education” and another for 20 Middle School Science Teachers on “Science-specific Pedagogical Content Knowledge and Emerging Trends” at National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Delhi. The workshops were started on 8th April and will conclude on 28th April 2015. The teacher participants were from the schools of Sambhota Tibetan Schools Administration, Tibetan Children’s Village, Tibetan Homes Foundation, Snow Lion Foundation (Nepal), TNMF School, Sera Je School and Drepung Loseling School.

There would be three more workshops to be conducted by NCERT in the coming months. 

These workshops were organized by DoE in its endeavor to enhance and empower the teachers in Tibetan Schools for their professional development.
