DHARAMSHALA: The Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration launched a website for online Tibetan language studies on the occasion of Parent’s day, 5 March. Website name WWW.BodYigLobJong.COM

Parent’s day is celebrated to mark the birthday of Dicky Tsering, birth mother of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as an expression of gratitude from the Tibetan public.

The website was launched by Kalon Ngodup Tsering of the Department of Education at a ceremony held at Petoen school, Gangchen Kyishong. The website is funded by Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA).

In his address, Education Kalon expressed the importance of parental role in the physical and emotional growth of children, and called for Tibetans to express their gratitude to them.
