Dharamsala: The Department of Education of the Central Tibetan Administration is pleased to launch a new set of book series towards the enhancement of the Tibetan children’s reading skill. The book set is consisted of 40 books, all meant for primary and pre-primary school children.

The books are being distributed freely to all the Tibetan schools in India & Nepal, along with the Tibetan language and cultural schools abroad. Mr Mingchung, the Tibetan language mentor of the Tibetan Children’s Village Dharamsala, has written and edited the whole book series.

The project has been kindly supported by Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA) through Centre for International Cooperation & Education (CICED), Denmark.
