Dharamshala: The Department of Education (DoE) of the Central Tibetan Administration has successfully completed an evaluation of the three children’s books in Tibetan. on 20 April 2023 at the department’s auditorium.
The revision committee comprising Deputy Secretary Gedun Dhonyoe, the head of Education Council’s Textbook Section (DoE); Ngawang Tenzin, the editor at Education Council (DoE); Buddha Kyab, the president of Manjushri Educational Service; Nyima Tso, staff at the Norbulingka Institute; Sonam Gyal, staff at the Tibetan Translation and Research Institutions; and translator of the children’s book Tsering Palzom met on Thursday for the final evaluation. They reviewed and edited two Tibetan translations of children’s books and a newly composed children’s tale in Tibetan. Under the same project, the team will further publish seven more children’s books. The project was supported by USAID through The Tibet Fund.
