Dharamshala: The Department of Education (DoE), Central Tibetan Administration, held a Science Workbook Review Meeting from 28 May to 2 June 2025.
The meeting brought together members of the Science Textbook Review Committee for secondary Tibetan schools. Over the course of six days, ten science workbooks were reviewed in alignment with the Basic Education Policy for Tibetans in Exile, which emphasises freedom, upholding the heritage, and innovation.
Participants included Under Secretary Dorjee Wangdue (Academic Section, DoE); Joint Secretary Gedun Dhonyoe (Education Council, DoE); Chakthar Bhum (Science Textbook Editor); Tenzin Ngodup (Science Teacher, Upper TCV); Nyima Tsering (Senior Headmaster, TCV Suja); Tenzin Choedon (Headmistress, Mewoen Tsuglag Petoen School); Tenzin Lhadon (Science Teacher, Mewoen Tsuglag Petoen School); Choezin Lhamo (Science Teacher, TCV Selakui); and Tenzin Dawa (Science Teacher, TCV Chauntra).
