Dharamshala: On 10 December 2025, in conjunction with three important occasions—the 36th anniversary of the conferment of Nobel Peace Prize on His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1989, International Human Rights Day, and the celebration of the Year of Compassion in honour of His Holiness the Dalai Lama—the Department of Education (CTA) released an animated video as part of its celebration programme.
The Department released the Chapter Seven of the three-dimensional children’s animation series, “Tenzin’s World,” titled “(Nobel Peace Prize),” on the Department of Education’s YouTube channel.
Animations have long been recognised as an effective educational tool, offering immense benefits to children of all ages, particularly the young. They support language development, cultural education, mental and physical well-being, moral conduct, and the appreciation of the arts, music, and song. In the contemporary era, animation has become a vital method of education, fostering children’s curiosity and understanding in a modern, accessible way.
