Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies (Deemed University), Sarnath, Varanasi is pleased to announce for new admissions in 4 Year innovative B.A.B.Ed. integrated course and Two-year B.Ed. course for the academic session 2020-21.

COURSES:

Integrated B.A.B.Ed. (Shastri cum Shiksha Shastri) and B.Ed. (Shiksha Shastri)
1. B.A.B.Ed. programme is a 4-year integrated and innovative course. Besides integrated syllabi of B.A. and B.Ed., students need to take Tibetan language and literature as one of the major subjects. Buddhist philosophy and logic are also being taught in Tibetan language.
2. B.Ed programme is a Two-year course. Besides syllabi of B.Ed, pedagogy of teaching in Tibetan language and Tibetan History is also offered to the students. Buddhist philosophy and logic are also being taught in Tibetan language.

COURSE DURATION:
  4 years (eight semesters) for B.A.B.Ed. (Shastri cum Shiksha Shastri) and Two-years (four semesters) for B.Ed. (Shiksha Shastri)

SEAT: 25 each in both the courses.

ELIGIBILITY:
1. For B.A. B.Ed. 4 Year integrated programme 10+2 in any stream with minimum 50% marks.
2. For B.Ed. Two-Year Programme Graduation in any stream/discipline with 50% marks.

Desirable Qualification:
  For both the programme the applicant should have competence in English and Tibetan Language and must have studied Tibetan Language at class 8 level.

CERTIFICATE:

  Applicant should submit the following certificates in soft copy along with the application form:
1. Class X marksheet and certificate
2. Class XII marksheet and certificate
3. Graduation marksheets
4. Character certificate
5. SC/ST/OBC/PH Certificate, if applicable

IMPORTANT DATES:
   (i) Last date for receiving of application form 15.09.2020
   (ii) Name of selected candidates shall be published on the website by 25.09.2020

Hard copy of the original form and all other relevant documents also need to be submitted at the time of admission when the student report to the office.
