Every year, 5th March is observed as Parents’ Day by the Tibetan diaspora in honour of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s mother, Gyayum Chenmo, Dekyi Tsering who was born on that day. Sherig Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra of the Central Tibetan Administration, extended heartfelt greetings to all the parents on the occasion.
