With a primary purpose of broadening the scope of learning and to inculcate leadership skills among the Tibetan students, since 2013, the Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration, Dharamsala has been organizing Leadership Workshop for over 300 Class X students every year. The participating students, their parents and the schools recognizes the workshop as a great platform of learning and exposure for the students.

From this year onwards, as per the request made by parents of Tibetan students studying in various private schools in India, the Department of Education, CTA has decided to provide 16 seats (8 girls and 8 boys) for Tibetan students currently studying in Class X in various private schools in India to attend the Leadership Workshop for Class X students.

This year, the Leadership Workshop for Class X students will be held from 27th December 2017 to 3rd January 2018. Interested Tibetan students currently studying in Class X in various private schools who wish to participate in the above workshop may apply for the seat. The students are required to submit their application along with a school bona-fide letter or a copy of Identity Certificate of the school in which they are studying, latest by October 31, 2017. Contact address with mobile number and Email ID must be given in the application.

In case, if the number of applicants exceeds the allotted seats, those who applied first will be selected. Travelling and Daily Allowance for the selected participants will be borne by the Department of Education, CTA, Dharamsala as per its norms. Applications received later than the deadline mentioned above will not be entertained.
