Delhi: The Department of Education, CTA, organised a one-day “Upskilling in Technology” workshop for the School Principals and Head-teachers of Tibetan Children’s Village (TCV) Schools on 9 November 2024, at the TCV Youth Hostel in Delhi. The event saw the participation of 24 school leaders, including TCV Education Director and principals and head-teachers from all the TCV schools.
The workshop was conducted by three trainers from Alokit namely, Ismeet Gulati, Lavanya Dahiya, and Mohd Amzad. The session was both highly engaging and interactive, with the resource persons demonstrating exceptional knowledge and professionalism in using various technology tools.
Participants appreciated the opportunity to learn and refine their skills in using Google tools and enhancing their abilities in professional presentations. This initiative proved invaluable, equipping the school leaders with essential skills to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of their administrative processes.
Moreover, the participants expressed a strong desire to continue learning from Alokit, recognising the importance of strengthening their technological proficiency to meet the evolving demands of education. The participants expressed their gratitude to the DoE for the workshop and requested that similar workshops be organised in the future to build upon the valuable foundation laid during this training.
