The Department of Education (DoE), Central Tibetan Administration (CTA), is pleased to announce 75 Distance Education Scholarship (Correspondence Course). INR 10,000 for each year of the course will be provided on submission of attested annual mark sheets.
Allocation of seats:
- 20 seats for Staff of Central Tibetan Administration (5 reserved for women)
- 20 seats for teachers at schools overseen by the Department of Education, CTA. (5 reserved for women)
- 15 seats for students of Sarah/Norbulingka Institute.
- 20 seats for those who did not attend college after Class XII.
- If the above 75 seats are not utilized, the remaining seats will be offered to applicants who do not fall under any of the above four categories.
Documents Required:
- The applicant and their parents must be a Tibetan refugee holding a Green Book (GB) with contributions paid until the year 2024. Form A must be duly filled and attested by local Tibetan Settlement Officer. Download Form A
- No Objection Letter from current Office or School Administration, with the applicant’s tenure clearly mentioned.
- Marks Card copy of the applicant’s highest qualification should be duly attested by a Tibetan Settlement Officer or CTA officer with the rank of Joint Secretary and above.
