Kalon for Department of Education, Mr. Ngodup Tsering visited CST Darjeeling and CST Sonada on 13th and 14th October respectively.

He has visited settlement offices in both the places and, Tibetan refugees self help centre in Darjeeling and Tibetan cooperative society in Sonada.

During the visit he has inspected all the classes and the hostels of the schools. He had interactions with the students and the teachers.

Education Kalon held informal meetings and open discussions with concerned school staff members on the issues relating to education of the students, the school administrations and welfare of the teachers and other staff members.

Honourable Kalon has also met with Tibetan Settlement Officers, PTA members and other local Tibetan committee members.
