Dharamshala: The Department of Education, Central Tibetan Administration, is pleased to announce that Reitaku University, Japan, will be offering a one year scholarship for two CTA Staff to study Japanese language at their University. The scholarship will cover tuition-fees, room & board, health insurance and a round trip airfare.

If selected for this scholarship, one must take study leave as per Clause (No. 22) of CTA Staff Rules and Regulations.

- The age of the applicant should not exceed 40 as on 1 January 2025.
- The applicant must have at least 5 years of service and must produce a letter from the Public Service Commission to this effect.
- The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field, and must upload Bachelor’s Degree mark sheets.
- Resume.
- A short Statement of Purpose (SOP).
- One must have an updated IC valid for travel and for the entirety of the study duration.
- The selected candidate after the completion of his/her study, should be willing to take on assignments related to Japanese language under the CTA should the need arise.
Selection process:
- Eligible candidates will be called for an interview by a selection committee in 1st week of September 2024.
- In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate with the more service years.
