Writing/Artwork Competition

Aide à l’Enfance Tibétaine (AET) is a Non-Governmental organization based in Paris, France which came in existence in 1981. It works in partnership with TCV (Tibetan Children’s Village) and CTRC (Central Tibetan Relief Committee) Department of Homes, CTA. AET also finances many programs and sustainable projects in the Tibetan communities in India/Nepal through the above NGOs.
On behalf of AET, the Department of Education, CTA made an announcement for Wring/Artwork Competition on July 17, 2014 among young Tibetans in exile who are studying in second year Under Graduate course only. However, as few students participated in the competition, AET extends the competition among all the Tibetan students studying in undergraduate course (1st year to 3rd year) in different colleges with a new deadline for submission -March 31, 2015. This competition is initiated by AET to commemorate the Year of Gratitude to His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The theme of the Writing/Artwork Competition is “Tibet, My Dream” and the Department of Education, CTA has been requested to facilitate the program such as making announcement, collection of writings/artworks and screening of collected writings/artworks.
As a mark of appreciation, the AET will give reward of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) each to the best 20 writings/artworks and the selected writings/artworks will be published in their newsletter.
Therefore, as a facilitator, the Department of Education, CTA hereby announce English writing competition on the theme “Tibet, My Dream”, open to all the young educated Tibetans who are studying in undergraduate course (1st year to 3rd year) in various colleges in India.
This competition includes essay, poetry, comics and drawings on the theme “Tibet, My Dream”. The last date for receipt of writing/artworks by the Department of Education, CTA, Dharamsala will be March 31, 2015. Hence, you are requested to submit hard copy of writings/artworks along with the following documents to the Department of Education through registered post.
- A copy of college Identity card along with a letter from the college Principal stating that you are enrolled in undergraduate course
- Attested copy of Green Book
- Name and contact details
The final selection will be done by the AET and the result will be declared by AET in the month of June 2015.
