SOS Children’s Villages Nepal is an independent, non-governmental social development organization. Job Position/s:
- Math & Science Teacher – (1) (full-time residential Teacher)
The Math and Science Teacher will be responsible for ensuring appropriate curriculum coverage. continuity and progression in the concerned subject area for all students. S/he should guide students by assessing the special educational requirements by offering best possible learning opportunities to enhance their skills. She/he must display ability to identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students’ varying need. S/he should plan and implement a learning curriculum, which includes activities for students that stress physical, social and emotional growth.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. (Must be proficient in spoken and written English, and preference will be given to candidates having B. Ed. with teaching experience. Basic fluency in spoken Tibetan and Nepali languages will be an added advantage.)
For the position mentioned above, candidate’s age ideally should not exceed 35 years. The candidate must be a computer literate with working knowledge of MS office applications. Candidates are expected to have excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, and should possess natural ability for positive handling of children and child safety.
