Dharamshala: Education Kalon Tharlam Dolma Changra is currently embarking on an official assessment visit to 12 Tibetan schools in Uttarakhand. Kalon who is accompanied by Director Tsering Dhondup of Sambhota Tibetan Schools Society first visited Shimla on Monday, 11 July where they took an assessment tour of CST school and addressed the faculty and students. After Shimla’s engagement, Kalon left for Dolanji where she paid a courtesy call on Menri Trizin Rinpoche to mark the beginning of her official engagements. Kalon and the delegates of the Education department next visited Sambhota school in Dolanji.
After concluding engagements in Dolanji, Kalon departed for Poanta Sahib where she will visit the school and interact with the authority-led students of the school. Kalon is scheduled to visit Tibetan Home Foundation and Sambhota school in Mussorie, Tibetan school in Dehradun’s Rajpur and Dekyiling, Dhondupling, School for Tibetan children with special needs, and TCV school in Selakui etc.
